Appraisers The Mortgage Fraud Awareness course is available online through the Alberta Real Estate Association (AREA). Please contact AREA for more information at http://www.abrea.ab.ca. If, as a result of licensing as a real estate or mortgage industry member, you have, in the past, completed the 6-hour Risk Reduction and Mortgage Fraud Awareness or the 3-hour Mortgage Fraud Awareness course, you are not required to complete the Mortgage Fraud Awareness course again. Please check your education record through RECA Online to confirm whether you have completed the education requirement.
