Calgary, Alberta – On March 1, 2010, pursuant to section 38 of the Real Estate Act Rules, the executive director of the Real Estate Council of Alberta suspended the licence of Brandon Arthur Vik, real estate associate registered with Cold Lake 2000 Realty Ltd. o/a Re/Max Cold Lake 2000 in Cold Lake, Alberta. As a result of this suspension, Brandon Arthur Vik may not trade in real estate in Alberta at this time.
The licence of Cold Lake 2000 Realty Ltd. o/a Re/Max Cold Lake 2000 is not affected by this suspension.
The Real Estate Council of Alberta (RECA) is an independent, non-government agency, responsible for regulating real estate, mortgage broker, and real estate appraisal industry professionals under Alberta’s Real Estate Act.
