Calgary, Alberta – On March 1, 2010, pursuant to section 38 of the Real Estate Act Rules, the executive director of the Real Estate Council of Alberta suspended the licence of Sheron Susanne Vieira-Chawda, mortgage associate registered with Centum Accord Mortgage Inc. in Edmonton, Alberta. As a result of this suspension, Sheron Susanne Vieira-Chawda may not deal in mortgages in Alberta at this time.
The licence of Centum Accord Mortgage Inc. is not affected by this suspension.
The Real Estate Council of Alberta (RECA) is an independent, non-government agency, responsible for regulating real estate, mortgage broker, and real estate appraisal industry professionals under Alberta’s Real Estate Act.
