(a)

"Act" means the Real Estate Act, RSA 2000, c.R-5;

(b)

“Chair” means the Council Chair;

(c)

“committee” means a committee of Council;

(c)

"Council" means the Real Estate Council of Alberta;

(d)

"executive director" means the executive director of the Council appointed under section 8 of the Act;

(e)

"Fund" means the Real Estate Assurance fund;

(f)

"Minister" means the minister responsible pursuant to the Act; and

(g)

“Past Chair” means the Council Past Chair;

(h)

"Regulations" means any regulations enacted by the Minister or the Lieutenant Governor in Council under the Act.

(i)

“Chair-Elect” means the Council Chair-elect;
